IPPO Christmas Party 2018

Taro
What is keeping you busy?
Dr.Abacus
We had IPPO Christmas Party last Saturday.

To open the holidays, IPPO celebrated their early Christmas Party last December 1st. This year IPPO decided to have a pool party. Good thing all the students know how to swim, unlike T.Pau who doesn’t. You should learn how to swim T.Pau. Kidding aside, the event turned out to be a success despite having the preparation a week before. We can’t thank you enough parents and guardians for having your children spend the first day of December with us.

Let’s Eat! Itakadimasu!!

After classes, everyone must be hungry.
Yes, you heard it right we still did have our classes prior to the Christmas party.

IPPO and the parents had a POTLUCK style of a party in which everyone brings food in order to share with everyone.

Who wants lechon (roasted pig)? Everyone loves lechon and would be very pleased to savor it all day.
Just be careful because too much may lead to hypertension.

Thanks to Mr. Yohei who sponsored the lechon. Arigatougozaimasu!!

It’s eating time. Dig in everyone there are different food to choose from.
As you can see the star of the show is the lechon!

I do certainly love lechon especially lechon kawali. I think I’m hungry now!

Sum-kun
What are you doing with the lechon, T.Pau?

Everyone’s busy eating and choosing the food they like. As you can see, Filipinos can’t live without rice.
Rice is life and lechon, too.

Activities and Games

Kids, let’s dance. The kids were on their best while dancing to the beat of the music. Mayuyu and Catherine (dance teachers) helped the kids memorize the steps and yes, the kids did dance and have fun with them.

It is not only the kids who had fun but also their parents. Mayuyu and Catherine taught the parents some dance steps
and were able to dance to the beat.

It was so refreshing to see parent’s smile and they too are having fun.

Maegan was tossing some coins and the other children on the pool need to find them.

They must collect as many coins as possible by diving into the pool and getting it.

The sole purpose of throwing a party is for your guest to enjoy and have fun and
I guess we have accomplished that especially after seeing the smiles in the children’s faces.

Gift-Giving

Christmas would never be complete without gift-giving. I believe it is a tradition already wherein in
every gathering especially in the Yuletide Season one must do exchanging of gifts.

Children opened their gifts right there and then.

Their smiles are worth a million and can take your breath away.

The Venue

This is the view from the top. We had our Christmas Pool Party in Winland Towers, Escario, Cebu City.

Them having a pool was really a great help in having a different twist for our Christmas Party this year.

IPPO took advantage of this amenity and have it booked for that afternoon.

The weather was perfect for an afternoon stroll and an afternoon swim. The kids were so energetic and lively.

The pool was not too deep for kids to swim in. They have enjoyed playing and swimming at the same time.

Summary

It was a day full of fun and activities. The day ended with smiles and exhaustion. It was tiring but a good tiring day.
Parents, teachers, students, and guests got to interact and bond with one another.

See you again next year everyone!!Enjoy the Yuletide Season.
