What is Arithmetic? (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division)

Arithmetic is the ABC of Mathematics. It is what kids learn first before complex equations and problems. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are the basics of Math.

Kids learn it first in their formative years. Counting numbers is the foundation of it. Even without us thinking them kids recognizes the amount they have or the number of items they have on hand. Even without teaching them kids are learning arithmetic in their own little way.

Why is it important to learn Arithmetic?

It is an essential skill to compute without writing anything on paper.

Numerically speaking, there are different ways to approach a problem.

One of the essential life skills necessary for children is learning arithmetic.

Arithmetic should prepare children for higher and real-world math.

Summary

Kids should love Math not hate it. It is best to have them build a solid foundation for doing basic skills like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. In this way, we are not only providing them with the best education but also securing their future.
